這是一個以實驗作為基礎的研習 ，其研究目標是如何在圖像的創作過程中, 去表達有關身體和心靈,自我認同及社會的概念。

 

生活在如香港般的現代大都市，個人的身份往往被社會的標準比較, 後再被歸類;

在這樣的社會結下生活，這被定義的身份便變成人們準確並且唯一的身份, 並再從而塑造出人們應該如何遵循社會的標準。

 

因此在這個標準下, 人們成為它標準的追逐者, 而未能達到標準的人們則會被歸類為未達標 - 這情況在大都市並不少見。

 

不論對個人或社會, 這都不是一個健康的狀態。

 

為了修復這種狀態，我們有必要重新正視自我身份, 使藝術家和觀眾雙方都向自己題目問一條最根本的哲學問題：“我是誰？ ” - 

 

這是由一系列的自我定位的研習，包括調查的藝術家的生活習慣, 以此為基本資料，並在藝術的創作過程中, 加上身體, 文字及意象, 從而尋找藝術家他對自己的自我身份認同。

 

因此創作結果可最少也可視其為藝術家身份的一部分。

As a studio based exercise, the research project will be an investigation on the concepts of self-identity relating to the body and mind through the imagery making.

 

Living in a contemporary metropolitan city such as Hong Kong, the identity of a person is often categorized through comparison by social standard;

Under such structure as a social habitation, people are also made to be believed those defined identities are their accurate and only identity that one should follow and become.

 

Therefore it is not uncommon that many city people are threatened and suffered not to be performing the same degree as other; which is not health to the individual as well as the society.

 

In order to restore to health to this situation, it is necessary to re-look into our self-identity. Through the art making that involves both the use of body and mind would allow both the artists and audience to asked ourselves the most fundamental philosophical question: “ Who am I?”

 

The Project is made up of a series of self-issuing exercises, includes investigated the daily life habits of the artist, which could reflect his personal self-identity; such data, as primary resources, will be transformed into a body of imagery making work with the use of the Artist's body.

 

Hence, the visualized result will become embodiment of (a part , if not all) the artist’s identity.
